Linux inside
According to this story, Dell will soon start selling computers with Ubuntu Linux preinstalled in the UK (they already do this in the US).
This is potentially excellent news, but to be perfectly honest, it’s so easy these days to install Linux that I’d only go for it if I could save money compared to buying the same computer with Windows.
Still, it’s definitely a move in the right direction, and it does make it more likely that my next computer will be from Dell.
