Spätzle

I made spätzle for dinner today (6 eggs, 2 tsp salt, 1 kg plain flour and a bit of water), and Phyllis cooked a nice lamb mince sauce to go with them.

When I was a kid, spätzle were definitely my favourite dish, and Léon seemed to second that – he was almost dancing in his high chair, it was just that good. 🙂

Charlotte and Marcel, on the other hand, were much more indifferent. Perhaps it’s a dish you have to grow up with to love?
