Kippers
As I blogged earlier, we were in Inverary once again this weekend. What I didn’t blog was that on our way home, we stopped for five minutes at the Loch Fyne Oyster Bar and Shop to allow me to buy some smoked kippers.
I paid £3.34 for two kippers and a peppered mackerel, so the price is very reasonable, and the taste is just so much better than most of the stuff you get in Glasgow.
The place is probably better known for a place to make secret political deals, but I guess that’s just an added attraction!
