The Word Atlas of Language Structures has been high on my wish-list of books I’d like for a long time, but its high price has prevented me from buying it.

Luckily, however, it’s now online, so there are now lots of nice maps there that can be studied for free.

It’s a goldmine for anybody remotely interested in linguistic typology.
