Born to assemble Ikea furniture

Phyllis had warned me before she moved in, but six-years-old Charlotte has nevertheless impressed me hugely with her ability to assemble Ikea furniture. It wasn’t so much when she assembled Léon’s chair on her own, since that was pretty easy anyway, but yesterday she twice did things right that I did wrong while we assembled a bed, and I’m normally not too bad at doing these things. I wonder whether anybody is willing to pay extra to have their furniture assembled by a wee girl?

I’ve been using pay-as-you-go from Tesco Mobile with an ancient Nokia phone for ages. However, I just realised that for the amount of money I spend every month topping up my mobile, I can move to a monthly payment plan with O2 and get a new Samsung D900 for free. So I just ordered that. Hopefully I won’t regret it…
