I’ve been fairly enthusiastic about the way FaceBook have opened up their site to 3rd party applications, but at the same time it’s worried me that they’d monopolise everything eventually. An open API is a much better idea. I have to find out more about it to see where the potential pitfalls are, but I definitely think it’ll be worthwhile developing appications for OpenSocial.

Som jeg før har blogget, fik vi foretaget en såkaldt 4D-scanning for snart to måneder siden. Det lykkedes mig med det samme at lægge nogle stills på Flickr, men først i dag klarede jeg at konvertere hele DVD’en til en AVI-fil, som jeg kunne oploade til YouTube (sådan her). Jeg kan anbefale at spole hen til det sidste halve minut, hvor der er billeder af hendes fødder og ben og den slags. People speak about the NHS, but it’s actually four different organisations in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. I think using the same name is unhealthy. It means the English find it illogical that they aren’t getting the same treatment in England as is provided by NHS Scotland. So the four services should be renamed. They already have different logos, so surely that wouldn’t be too hard.
